Background

As first announced in September, 2019, a new business development will see iCompass (a Diligent brand) transfer all BC legislation services (business) back to Victoria-based Quickscribe Services Ltd., effective November 1st, 2019.

Quickscribe has been providing reliable, economical and timely BC legislation services since 1984. In fact, iCompass has been contracting Quickscribe to provide these legislation services for all BC local governments clients since 2006. This new arrangement will provide clients with direct access to the company that has been delivering these services (behind the scenes) for over a decade.

Over the next year we will be migrating all existing local government clients who are using the old CouncilVIEWS legislation platform over to the new Quickscribe Online 2.0 (CivicLaws) platform

What is Quickscribe Online (CivicLaws)?

Built in BC, specifically for BC local governments, Quickscribe Online 2.0 (CivicLaws) will help to ensure you stay engaged on key legislative developments that impact your community. Features include:

And this is just the beginning. More enhancements are in the works, so stay tuned. Request a free trial/quote to see for yourself why most BC local governments are using this economical service.
