Commencement:

This Act comes into force by regulation of the Lieutenant Governor in Council.

CLAUSE 1: [Income Tax Act, section 4.3] amends the definition of "basic personal amount".

HIS MAJESTY, by and with the advice and consent of the Legislative Assembly of the Province of British Columbia, enacts as follows:

1 Section 4.3 (1.1) of the Income Tax Act, R.S.B.C. 1996, c. 215, is amended by striking out "$9 713" and substituting "$22 462".

2 This Act comes into force by regulation of the Lieutenant Governor in Council.
