BC Legislative DigestDesigned in consultation with key personnel from BC Courthouse Library, the BC Legislative Digest is a new email-based service offered by Quickscribe that is fully customizable to your needs. Is there a specific Bill that is of particular interest to you? Are there any proposed changes in the works for the Acts most relevant to you? Let us track and email you the progress of any Bill as it makes its way into law from 1st reading, 3rd reading, Royal Assent and into law. You can choose to be notified of all legislation changes, changes to a selected group of Acts and Regulations, or create your own grouping of Acts and Regulations - Quickscribe's BC Legislative Digest lets you decide what you want to be informed about and how frequently you want to be notified. This is an essential tool for any professional who wants to keep tabs on upcoming and recent legislative activity. As a Quickscribe client, you are entitled to use this resource for free!

Quickscribe ReporterThe Quickscribe Reporter is a monthly Email summary of all legislation changes that occurred in the past month, plus a look forward to anticipated changes. The Reporter also includes pertinent industry-related news by categories of law.

RSS Notifications What is RSS?
Quickscribe also provides two RSS (Really Simple Syndication) services to help you stay informed. RSS sounds complicated, but it really is simple - whenever we make a change to our Quickscribe Online service, you will receive a notification in your RSS reader. You can choose to be notified of changes to Bills (the Bill Tracker) or new legislation (the Law Tracker).

Bill Tracker ToolKeep informed BEFORE it becomes lawThe Bill Tracker RSS feed will notify you when new legislation and proposed amendments are first introduced (1st Reading), and again if/when the Bill achieves 3rd Reading. Quickscribe also provides a compare service that allows you to review the changes (if any) between the 1st and 3rd Readings. One more way Quickscribe helps you stay informed. Reminder: This service requires an RSS reader. If you prefer to receive alerts by email we suggest using the new BC Legislation Digest (BCLD) above. The BCLD service also allows you to more easily modify/edit your alerts as needed.

Law Tracker ToolGet notified AS it becomes lawThe Law Tracker tool will notify you when amendments are made to legislation YOU identify as being relevant. As an added service, Quickscribe Online clients can link directly to the affected section to see how the text reads now and compare it to how the text read just prior to the change. Simply put, the Law Tracker is quick, convenient, and informative. Reminder: This service requires an RSS reader. If you prefer to receive alerts by email we suggest using the new BC Legislation Digest (BCLD) above. The BCLD service also allows you to more easily modify/edit your alerts as needed.
